It is no secret that we are in the midst of an obesity epidemic in the United States. The national media and talk shows remind us frequently that a staggering number of US residents are overweight or obese. According to a survey conducted in 2009 and 2010 by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), 1 which is summarized in a brief by the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), 2 74% of males and 64% of females over the age of 20 are overweight or obese as defined by have a body mass index (BMI) of greater than 25. The health risks associated with being overweight are well documented and include an increase risk for type 2 diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, osteoarthritis, stroke, and some forms of cancer.

You are not alone in your battle against unwanted pounds and there is no shame in seeking help. The most important thing is that you take action now to reduce your weight and the health risks associated with being overweight. We can help you get started with safe and effective treatments including HCG, Appetite Suppressants, Vitamin B-12, and Lipotropics.
Upon your first visit to our office, you will be interviewed by our staff regarding your weight loss goals and current eating habits. A staff member will take your weight, measurements, and vital signs and draw blood for laboratory work. You will meet with the physician to discuss what program will work best for you. The physician will go over the diet program with you and discuss any concerns that you may have regarding the diet. Medications will be prescribed if necessary, at the physician’s discretion and after a thorough evaluation of individual needs.
The Soboba Weight Loss Program is a medically supervised weight loss and management program. At the start of the program, a comprehensive history will be obtained and a list of medications, allergies and prior exposures to medications will be recorded in your file. Lab work is conducted on an annual basis to screen any pre-existing conditions or new problems and complications. After the initial evaluation, you will be seen on weekly basis by our medical staff to monitor your progress and to adjust your medications, should that become necessary. Prescribed medications, injections and supplements are dispensed by the staff and are included in the weekly charges. The weekly monitoring visits are an integral part of our program and mandatory. You will have unlimited access to the physician and medical staff as long as you are on the program. There is never a fee assessed for consultation with the physician once you start the program. This is to encourage you to interact with the staff as frequently as you feel needed, to learn the basics of weight management.
